Rimu Marketing held our first marketing workshop focusing on strategy on Thursday 15 January, in Windsor. 8 small businesses joined us, all from different backgrounds and industries. There was a real buzz in our 3 hr interactive workshop and the feedback from those who joined us has been fantastic! Please CLICK HERE to see what some of them had to say. Here is a testimonial from one of the attendees:
“Thanks for a stimulating session this morning. Nice mix of people, I came away with an idea of the way forward, the start of a plan, some very specific actions, questions and clearer on where I need help. Thank you! Now to stay focused and make time!” Caro, Eton Wick
In the marketing workshop we worked through all of the key things that a small business needs to consider when drafting their marketing strategy, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and debate the best way forward. We started by reviewing where each individual was now with their business – what was working for them and what was not working for them, focusing on what needed to change moving forward. Once we knew where we wanted to go we then started to visualise our target audience considering what their needs, aspirations and challenges might be. We concluded our session by reviewing the business environment and brainstorming some content which we thing might be appropriate for each business.
At the end of the session each delegate went away with a clear approach and direction as to where they were going to focus their business as the moved forward.
We love running workshops so if you have a group of colleagues who would like to learn more about a particular topic or if you have an in-house team who need up skilling, please do get in touch to see how we can help.
