I am a freelance marketing consultant with over 15yrs marketing experience within blue chip leisure, hotels and tour operator organisations. I am a chartered marketer and a current member of the CIM. More recently since establishing Rimu Marketing in April 2014 I have worked with a wide selection of small businesses on a diverse range of projects. For me the real reward is when my client has that “light bulb” moment and everything comes together, they see results! On a personal note, I have a passion for sport, including horse riding, running, tennis and netball; I love creative design; travelling and working with children.
Alison Joshi from Joshi was Janes has been in the design industry for over 16 years and has experience working on clients large and small. Whilst working in London for one of the top marketing agencies in the UK, Alison created print campaigns for Sainsbury’s, Nissan and Unilever. Alison takes her expertise gained working on large accounts and applies her knowledge and experience to the SME market that are looking for bespoke, interesting and creative results. Alison works closely with each client to achieve the best creative solution for their business.
Daniel from Avidmode is a web developer and UX designer with over ten years’ experience making websites. His technical expertise includes the full range of web development, from server administration to frontend development, including many platforms such as WordPress and Node.js. On the design side, he focuses on clean and modern layouts with emphasis on simple user experience. This means always understanding both the end-user as well as the client needs when making key design and development decisions around platform choice, integration solutions, interaction and service design as well as the all important visual design. In his spare time Daniel is an accomplished musician, composer and video game player.
After almost two decades in the banking sector as a turnaround specialist in the retail, hospitality, care and property sectors, Kittie left to form Indigo Girl and then Avidmode with Daniel. Since then, 12 years and counting, she’s helped clients to grow their businesses online. Her expertise is in developing customer-focused strategies enabling clients to reach, engage and convert their ideal audiences into raving fans and customers. She achieves this through a variety of disciplines including research, website information architecture, search engine optimisation, conversion rate optimisation and search engine marketing. Being a data nerd – a requirement of the job – some might consider Kittie’s pastimes a little boring, but she’s never happier than when she’s immersed in learning opportunities, experiencing new cultures and exploring how things work.
